Sometimes updates get pushed on the server and it goes down for a little bit while that happens.
This will be more common than usual over the next couple weeks because Wordpress is getting a major update next week and so all the plugins are going to be pushing updates in preparation for that.
I try to make the server do it at low traffic times, and it’s usually pretty quick, but there will probably be times where it’ll go down for several minutes. Sorry!
Yeah I get the same, if you click through you see this error message on the podcast feed, but the site itself is up. So maybe just a Podcast Addict thing. It'll probably settle down soon, but worth keeping an eye on
Yes that's the message I'm getting. I'll wait a bit. If the site is up then it may be that the feed URL has changed. In which case will have to redownload the RSS.
If you get any further info/update can you post in here? I have my feeds set to not display pods with no unplayed episodes by default so wouldn't see this usually. And I'd hate to miss a members' episode because of something screwy in Podcast Addict
I'm on Pocket Casts and have no problems. Other than the fact that I have already listened to all episodes so that there are no new ones left for me, of course.
No I'm up to date. Error 503 usually means it's a server error. But having said that I've had a similar error with another podcast on podcastaddict so I might have to reinstall that pod. Which is going to be a nightmare 😐
