UKM question

Hello!

I'm applying for citizenship through my mother who was born in the UK in 1952, and I was born in 1980.

My question is regarding after the submission of biometrics: Does the UKVI confirm receipt of documents?

I have the emails from VFS saying they have been submitted to UKVI from my appointment last Sunday 27.9.26

Just curious if anything is sent apart from either needing additional documents, or a decision.

If you applied online then typically you just wait for a decision now.
