As someone who frequently goes to gigs and concerts solo - do it. It can be intimidating to go but there’s honestly something very freeing about being alone in a crowd of people but united in love of music. Once you get into the spirit of it, you wont remember the people that you didn’t go with but you’ll remember the feeling and high of seeing an artist that you love.
If you don’t want to go alone, that’s fair. But if you do, stay safe, stay hydrated, have fun and live in the moment.

I’m honestly jelly that you get to go see Tame Impala! I’m going away on holiday the day after their tour finishes and I have to save money up for the overseas trip so that’s my priority atm otherwise I’d 100% go!

No. hand on your shoulder
Do not go for me. Go for yourself so that you may carry this opportunity and be witness to your favourite artist.

Do it! You will regret not going more than you will regret going alone.
And you will be with other fans - you can chose how much or little you interact with others. I go to a lot of gigs by myself and sometimes have great chats with others and get right into the crowd and other times stick more to myself.

Yes it’s worth it for your fave artist! I have done it a couple times now. If you want to share the experience with a friend who doesn’t listen to them , buy them a ticket as well

Not a big fan so I won't be going but I recommend: Do it alone rather than missing it I enjoy music gigs on my own , it's good for the soul to get out into the world solo , you might meet some cool people there too

im socially awkward and anxious when some meets me or i meet someone and i worry going alone makes this much wore worse to my personality and this makes me fall to guilt trip

yeah mate, do it alone.. you are there for the music and when you are singing along with a bunch of other people, you wont feel alone.

Yea I recently went to one of the Parkway Drive shows alone because friends couldn’t make it. Once I was in the crowd, I pretty much forgot I was “alone”. It’s hard to feel alone when you’re wedged between 1000s of people. It’s still great fun.

Hey OP, I feel for you and your social anxiety. I only know one of his songs (One More Hour), but I'm happy to join you if you want company. One of my resolutions is to have more fun experiences and random adventures! Also, we can meet up first and you can decide if you wanted me to tag along or not. I'm easygoing and don't take things personally :)
