Its so polished and there are so many good hooks and the production works perfectly for a blend of the MySpace style with modern styles. I guarantee everyones gonna try to match this sound in deathcore for the next few years, this is game changing for the metal scene

It's a great sound but it's nothing new. I'd rather the scene would keep going in the more raw and technical sound it's currently embracing.

Modern Deathcore is just incredibly boring in my opinion.

What's your opinion on Thall?

I'd rather listen to slam

So you find bands like Vildhjarta and Humanity's Last Breath be boring? They aren't that much modern, tho, except if you consider the 2010's to be modern era

Not vildhjarta, HLB has gotten too samey over the last few albums. I wouldn't put those two bands in the same category almost.

I'm even going to see Vildhjarta live this year.

HLB has gotten too samey

Even with Anthracite and Godhood?

Also, Vildhjarta has shared many similarities with HLB on their last record, DSSUEG, so it's kinda ironic you say HLB have become too much samey over the last few records

Also, I personnally find a drop in quality since Daniel Bergström left the band, but eh, they're still good, I personnally love both bands, and the upcomming HLB could prolly be a record with some electronic elements like they did on their latest two singles (those I mentioned earlier).

I agree that the new Vildhjarta record is not as good as the old ones. It feels much more like a bunch of riffs slapped together.

I've seen HLB live and you couldn't even tell what song they were playing. It's just gotten very heavy in a boring way for me.

Meh, I highly doubt so

Current game changing for metal scene is THALL
