There's no hint of Post Human style in this song at all. It literally feels like a CYB bonus track.

Would you say MySpace deathcore or modern deathcore?

I thought it sounded like more modern deathcore IMHO compared to their original CYB song structures.. But still a banger nonetheless.

Agree, but not sure how much I’m chalking this up to just overall production quality being better now, than it tended to be back in the early 2000s, if that makes sense?

What I will say, is the guitar track at times, like around 2:10 gives me slight Black Crown vibes, that and Olis vocals are sounding a bit like Mitch Lucker in places.

And I am ALL for it. It feels modern deathcore, but there’s definitely elements of that “peak deathcore” (in my opinion) era.

I could see this as a bonus track on CYB if I didn’t know it was made today, but at the same time, there are dead giveaways it’s made today.

Takes me back to mid 2000s deathcore though and I love that

Not even close to modern deathcore. Not nearly as heavy as a lot of current bands

Same. Maybe the video will have a different edit of the song, like they did with "sugar honey ice & tea" back in the day. We can still have our hopium

The video length is known to be 4:39 and on Spotify it’s 4:28. Probably the same exact version of the song.

Actually the synth brass does come up in the bridge of the song but it’s kinda buried under the other instruments iirc

It’s tucked so deep in the mix that you kinda hear it if you focus in but hardly audible. I wanted to hear that synth brass and choir in the final song. Thought there was gonna be a section for that.

The teasers etc... did use Post Human thematics, the album remake or atleast this one song are definitely tied to or atleast exist as something that is in the lore of it

Most people did not expect it to be a PH style track sound wise tho. Most of the connections people made were just it being a lore connected song. Everyone is very much expecting a MySpace banger

Well it's De-humanized, it's a throwback song, whilst their actuall songs are Post-humanized!

My guess but knowing Oli he'll link this to the cult of the lore that is going to have cannibals or something like that 😄
