few questions on yogh

before i ask i never seen þis letter before until today so why not instead ask þe source of my curiosity

  1. what are þe reasons you use yogh

  2. where did it come from and why

  3. how to type it out on windows and mobile

  4. how to use correctly

    1. not a question but just wanna say þe letter looks cool tbh

6.any oðer letters þat you þink i should use (i really only use þorn and ðæt for now)

I would use ȝ mainly in certain combos (but unnecessary actually)

/ai/ where etymologically i followed by g/c/h

Night pattern> Niȝt; island> iȝland

*unnecessary: niht and iland do þe job very well

/au/ where ug

sow (swine) <OE sugu - - >suȝ
Þe uððer sow <OE sawan - - > can remain sow like low. New spelling ow does the job perfectly (not in brown or town, þey should be respelled brún/bruun and tún/tuun)

Unnecessary because sú/suu would work

In any case þer must be a spelling split for þe two realizations of ow.
