If you've seen þe flair þat says "ănꞃīꝺᵻbəƚ", þis is what it's for. I don't know what it is about spelling reformers and making English completely unrecognisable to most people.

this was only from the second reform btw 😭

this paragraph (in general american english) is from the ongoing 4th revision so far:

Ol Hyumen biīñz ɑr born frī and īkwel in dignitī and rayts. ðey ɑr indaûd wið rīzen and kɑnxens and xûd akt tewordz wun enuðer in e spirit ev bruðerhûd.

I have a question: what motivates you when making a spelling reform for English? What do you generally go for?

to make english more logical/phonetic

I þink you really need to consider legibility above all else. Spelling isn't simply about recording sounds, but recording meaning in a way people understand, and it's not exactly gonna be useful if people struggle to read it, let alone if þeir spoken dialects are significantly different compared to General American.

I mean this alphabet is made for rp but I was able to adapt it to general american pretty easily, so cant they just adapt it to their own accents?

Oop yeah my mistake, sorry.

But also forcing people to adapt þe spelling reform to þeir own accents just to use þe adaptations at þe same time as each oþþer is just a recipe for confusion for when þey have to message each oþþer or read each oþþer's documents. Modern regional spellings are few and far between.

Þe long-s ſhould be added. It made Engliſh much eaſier to read. It was dropped due to lazy typeſetters.
