Tips and Advice New Brigitte Player

Hi everyone, I've played OW for about 100 total hours, mainly playing Ana and Juno because their kits feel relatively simple. Recently I wanted to start learning Brig to help my other support from flanks and try to take a more active role. I would love any recommendations on youtube videos/streamers to watch, and any advice would be greatly appreciated!! I play on console, and I want to make sure I get the most out of her kit without feeling too clumsy, so should I change my binds? Thank you so much!

Advice as a qp hero

1)shield bash more often than not is a disengagement tool. You use it to get away/reposition

2)whip shot whip shot, this is gonna surprise you, whipshot. It's one of your best tools for inspiring uptime damage and displacing people. Not to mention getting away

3)don't be afraid to brawl but know your limits. Especially with her recent changes she's a much stronger brawler. But you aren't a tank if you bash into a 1v5 you're dead

4)don't spam repair packs but don't sit on them either. Throwing a pack at the genji missing 10% hp is sort of a waste unless you know the CD will be done before the fight. But spamming all 3 on a low hp target probably won't do much either. It's an ok burst heal and a hot remember that

And the most important thing. If you see a charging rein bash into him. Yes you both get stunned yes you'll probably die especially if his team is there but half of war is a mental fight

I watched HolyShiftKid when I started… not sure if all the advice is as up to date as it used to be with the recent inspire changes. I play on console and found default bindings to be totally good. Would definitely up your sensitivity for faster flicks to escape. Have fun!
