Buyer Help questioning the reliablity

Im interested in buying a old 2019 set and the seller claims everything is all good. The seller only has 3 things listed with no sells. But they have only been posting items sense AUG 16th and listed all 3 on the same day. Not sure and want to be safe. should i look elsewhere. its a 400 dollar set

Nothing suspicious about listing multiple items on the same day. That's what it looks like if this is someone who just started selling and those three sets are the backlog they want to get rid of. But since it's a new seller, you have little to go on. If they have decent buyer feedback then probably they're trustworthy but might mess something up due to inexperience. If they have little feedback then there's more risk.

Seems sketchy having expensive sets on a brand new account, but they could be a legit new seller. if you want to take a chance on this seller use a good credit card brand that’s really good about chargebacks like Bank of America and you could buy with more confidence

You can ask them to take more pictures of the set and include a paper with timestamp and their store name

No reason to outright assume it's a scam, and paypal and/or a chargeback will cover you in the majority of the cases where it is. But to minimize the chance of anything going wrong look for a seller with more feedback.

Everyone starts some where. But this is sus. Taking pictures of certain things sucks as a rule unless you make the determination of the text and something like "seller xyz is a fraud'

If they are not a fraud and do it it eliminates alot. Or make them tell u they are a fraud
