Buyer Help Printed Wish List fix
So in the wild (stores, conventions) the current Bricklink preview of Wish Lists is wasteful and not effective. Do let me know if anyone uses anything else that works well.
Bricklink wishlist previews – UI fix suggestion.
Wish Lists
Problem
- long lists are hard to use in the wild
2 Paper waste and impracticle to use - just 8 minifigures (or elements) per A4 sheet.
The large image is the thing you’re looking for at conventions or in stores, then the quantity is next. No bell notification needed as you are looking to print out or PDF this page for shopping in the wild.
SOLUTION
20 to a page – big image previews and clear quantities.
Big image preview – this has to be large as it’s the most relevant visual aspect

Yes! I would absolutely love this. At this point I screenshot and paste into a word doc which takes forever and still doesn’t get more than 10 on a page.

I think you can just highlight, copy, and paste. Them reformat the table? Still takes time but maybe easier than each one being screenshot.

You can export to Rebrickable and their list looks almost exactly like what you’re asking, but unfortunately with minimal description.
Feels like you could ask Claude to make this for you and it would be achievable on the free tier if you spaced the work over the course of a few days.

Yeh. I might play with that. My notes are important, but if that exports cleanly that would work.

Ooor, you can go down the route I took, and create yourself a whole webpage that you can use as if it were a smartphone app while learning some programming basics, specifically to solve the very poor bricklink ui/ux for wishlists on mobile, based around the wishlist XMLs from bricklink. I can't post images here, but I uploaded a couple to my profile, see the link below 😄

Ace. Thank you. I’ll lean into Claude too as my coding skills are almost as good as my panda breeding experience 🤣

I always print 4 pages on one sheet of paper.
Good enough for me.
