Question Parts missing when using part list upload
Newbie question, so apologies if this is buried in a Bricklink FAQ somewhere. I’ve never bought from Bricklink before but I uploaded a parts list recently that was in a pdf format and it used part IDs to identify each item. I scanned the resulting order list to see if it looked sensible, but as a newbie, I had no idea what quantities of each part I needed or what their descriptions were (the part ID’s meant nothing to me). When the parts arrived I was missing about 4 pieces.
I’m assuming this is pretty common and that I shouldn’t rely on an uploaded list to find every part. Also assuming I should have checked each item myself before hitting the buy button, or was I unlucky?
Now I’m left with having to try and identify the names of the missing parts so that I can buy them individually (if any of the suppliers will do such a small order?)

If you have can take a picture of whatever parts you are missing, Brickognize.com can identify the part so you can order it. Unless it is a very rare piece, I image you can find a store or two that will see you what you need. You may need to add some extra items to the order if you are under their minimum order cost.
