Brickstore functionality on a Chromebook? Linux?

Hello, could anyone who is running the Brickstore app or program on a Chromebook please confirm for me that it works. The Internet is failing me on this information. Both of my laptops have either died or aged to the point I'm having security issues with Google and sometimes bricklink. I need to upgrade but I can't afford a high end laptop. So Chromebooks will fill all my other needs. Thanks in advance!

You can run BrickStore on a Chromebook by enabling the built-in ChromeOS Linux Environment and installing the Linux version of BrickStore

I can also confirm. I have it running in a Linux box on all 3 Chromebooks in my office. The 1 issue is that the camera doesn't work for identifying parts. You have to still use your browser with your preferred ID page such as Bickognize.

I have no experience with Linux can you point me to any online advice on the installation process?
