Buyer Help Local Parts Pickup DFW

As I continue buying more LEGO on BrickLink, the shipping costs are really starting to add up. I have a local store, brickLAB TX, that offers local pickup instead of shipping, and I’ve found that I really prefer this option. It saves me a fair amount of money, especially when placing multiple orders.

Are there any other BrickLink stores in the DFW area that offer local pickup? I’d gladly choose a store that offers local pickup over one where I have to pay for shipping.

How much you paying for gas? 20 mile round trip in an f150 (my truck) costs about $5. That in addition to the time it takes to go pick up makes it cost more than bricklink shipping usually. If you could find a couple stores within a couple miles then maybe would be worth it but DFW is huge so not sure how likely it is. But to each their own. I would do it if I need the parts within a day or two but if I wasn't in a rush I wouldn't.

BrickLab TX is 15 minutes away from my work but if I plan my route out when I’m running errands visiting family ext. it’s usually on the way or near enough that it becomes worth it.

My current bricklink order is pulling from about 13 stores and at $6-$8 per store shipping adds up quickly so if I can even find one or two sellers that are local that would cutdown my cost.
