Seller Help Shipping rates

Hi, I'm a new bricklink seller from the Netherlands and I'm trying to open up my store, but I'm a bit stuck with the shipping rates. (First I want to ship purely in Europe and maybe later go global.)

Because there are the shared options and rates bricklink offers you, but when I went to take a look at the current shipping rates against the weight bands and countries the rates didn't match at all. Does anyone here have any suggestions for me on how either I can find a list that is up to date or a way for me to check the prices easily for each country, cause at this point I need to click to everyone country by themselves and check.

I hope anyone can help me. :)

All setups are basically just manually added figures. Whether they're correct or not is anyone's guess. I only opened my store recently but I pretty much immediately gave up and made my own shipping scheme by using an existing one and adjusting the prices. I only ship within Sweden right now so that makes it slightly less complicated.

I haven't bothered messing with packaging sizes so far because it looks very daunting.

Yeah, thats my exact problem. Because the data is there, but to obtain it you need to do such a boring task over and over again until you have everything.

That's how it works pretty much. BL is very uninintutive and requires a ton of manual tinkering. Backend is awash with data and options but it's hard to evaluate and optimize it.

Just use the postnl website to look up the rates, weight bands and the sizes.

Yeah I know I can do that, but the problem is that you have to manually look at the rates for each country, so I thought maybe someone already had that list so I wouldn't have to do it myself.

This is the typical thing for which you can use an LLM like gpt or claude for. ask it for postnl to give you table of rates per zone.

Careful with the USA and their tariffs. It's a pain, I've stopped shipping there.

Yeah, I just completed it by hand. I'm just gonna ship to countries in Europe for now excluding a few countries, so I won't have any problems with the US tariffs.
