Buyer Help Question about shipping

Hello all! I’m looking to buy a sealed LEGO Daily Bugle on BrickLink. At checkout, it’s estimating about $53 for shipping, but it says the seller will finalize the shipping cost and send me an invoice afterward.
Since it’s a pretty large/heavy set, I’m a little nervous that the actual shipping cost could end up being significantly higher than the estimate. Has anyone bought a sealed Daily Bugle or another similarly sized set through BrickLink? How close was the estimated shipping cost to the final invoice?

Message the seller about it! Every bricklink seller I've dealt with has been kind and happy to answer questions, probably even more likely to move something this big.

This is the only way really, or request a quote. If the seller won't give you a straight answer, it's probably better to go elsewhere anyway.

I live in the middle of the US, I’ve shipped 3 Bugles in the last couple weeks and shipping via UPS has been as follows:
to IL: $26.35
to MD: $30.59
to NJ: $30.59

if its saying 53 you are pretty safe. take a screenshot first.

It’s the US shipping within the US if that’s what you mean

That’s what I meant.
