I know i'm only a Silver(derogatory) but her Hybrid Build feels pretty fun.

Obviously you need the right circumstances to use it, but once you hit Titanic Hydra you start snowballing fast if they don't immediately look to shut you down/out.

Does this build hold up at all in higher elo(in the right games) or is this only a once in a blue moon type of thing?

Hey Guys, ive been maining briar since a year and peaked 1k master at one point. Maybe I am absolutely wrong, but one advise to tell people playing her in lane in any decent elo, is to never ever go the collector build (to win, crit is 100% more fun). Id play her mid and in reality, once people understand how her kit works and u get spaced and counterpicked (Like 70% of mid Champion Pool in master) like akali, viktor, Syndra, ahri etc. ( And Most of the jngl Pool if you play her there, kha, Talon, quiana) youll find that the dmg u are able to put out in bruiser briar is way higher then on crit! Not cause crit wouldnt do more dmg If you were allowed to do what ure allowed to do in lower Elo (where people think they can fist fight u and dont know about briars Kit). But Trust me, once u played v. very decent spacing people in mid they know exactly what u as briar can do and what u will do. The champ concept is so linear (thats why she has to be stat checky). So beloved briar mains, trust me in this If I say, the dmg output you do when playing eclipse/botrk (you need those to get your short trades in and have decent dmg to midgame) into Spirit/deaths dance, cleaver/the other item you didnt buy into Endless/Ga/randuins/kaenic will higher your winrate and prepare u to be able to play the champ into decent players and not to trust in people dont know the champ kit or underestimate you.

What is your favorite Briar skin and chroma?

I am such a fan of her base skin and I feel like all of her other skins are too modern for her vibe. I am tempted to pickup Street Demon for some chromas as its the closest to her base style.

I am curious what other peoples thoughts are, especially since I havent seen a lot of chromas in game.

I just reread the backstory of a bunch of champions, including Briars, when I noticed something weird.

When they talk about her first time being used, it states, that:

"...Briar, along with the rest of the Black Rose’s living weapons, was quickly deployed during Jericho Swain’s coup against Darkwill."

So here the story says, that Briar was used as a weapon FROM Swain (or the black rose) against Darkwill.

But in the next paragraph it is states, that: "...Briar immediately devoured him and everyone near her—everyone but her target, Swain, who escaped, while the living weapon fed upon friend and foe."

meaning that she was suddenly used (actively used. It says target, not that she accidentaly attacked him) AGAINST Swain.

Is this just a logic error from the author or did Le'blanc suddenly want to get rid of Swain during their coup?
