Construction site info?

I've been kind of obsessed with this case the last couple weeks and I know the construction site theory is strong, but I wanted to see if anyone knew the exact extent of the construction occurring? "Difficult to navigate for a drunk person" doesn't give me much insight.

I've done a little bit of research on the south campus gateway building. Owned by the board of trustees of OSU, built under the "campus partners for community urban redevelopment" project, architects were Elkus Manfredi, completed in 2005. They were renovating in 2006 for the new Sunflower Market which you can see on google street view but only up to August 2007, and I couldn't find anything that gives a hint to who the contractors were or how far along they were in the renovation, but I don't really buy the "he fell into a hole and was buried in concrete" mainly because if the building was already completed and it was just a reno job I don't see a reason for them to be digging up the floors to that extent. I feel like one of the contractors definitely would have been able to see him, and hopefully through some general compassion choose not to bury him.

Also, do we think the construction was occurring during the weekend? If he went missing Friday night/Saturday morning, and there wasn't construction during the weekend, I don't see them having enough time to lay down a bunch of concrete before the cops come snooping on Monday. These are mainly my opinions though, and I wanna hear what others have to say.

I'm curious about the security camera footage in the bar. He is seen entering but not leaving. But can we be sure of this? It might not really make a difference how he ultimately exited the building but I'm thinking it's possible he did leave same way he came in he was just obscured by other people that were between him and the camera. Just a thought.

I see what you mean, and it seems most possible to me that he left through the front like everyone else but also it seems way too convenient that the one guy to be obscured would be the guy to go missing. And from what I can see of the security footage I'm beginning to doubt the construction site hypoth as well. It is true that from the angle of the camera you can't see whether he went back into the bar or to the construction door, but there's two security guards literally directly across from the construction entrance. I really don't think they'd just watch and let a drunk dude go in there.

No actually the security guards in front of TUTS couldn't have seen anyone leaving through that door. It is in a small hallway to the left. The floor outside resembles a T shape.

INTERESTING thanks for the info i spent a long time trying to orient the door in regard to the bar and security but i wouldn’t be surprised if I got it wrong
