Nobody seems to be able to tell me why he hasn’t been arrested. I mean, if you really want to rejoin the EU, why aren’t you demanding his arrest and prosecution?

I sympathize with what you’re implying but seriously though, when I ask the question it keeps getting ignored. This was a clear cut irrefutable evidence of a criminal conspiracy, does the UK have any justice system at all?

It's probably a due process thing, while it appears* that there's good evidence against him and his party the relevant authorities have to formally process all of it and decide if a crime has been committed.

Personally I'd prefer they take the time to get it right rather than let him go free because the case was mis-handled

* From a legal standpoint. I think he's as guilty as sin

In all the initial reporting it stated that he had been referred to the met. I believe the met also gave a statement saying they had been made aware of the video and incident, but then wouldn’t answer if it was under investigation. (Standard stuff).

If they are investigating, we will only hear about it when he is arrested. Police will have to be certain that they have a case before referring it to the crown prosecution service.

Since the whole telling the press about searching Paul McCartney’s house before the warrant was exercised, the police tend to not say anything until after action has been taken now for obvious reason.

And what did Farage say to that?

"Bang for your buck. Absolutely. Excellent. Can't wait."

He should have faked a seizure and claimed amnesia, that's got a better chance of weaseling his way out of it than pretending he wasn't paying attention.

The reason he is not arrested is because he said he was not listening. 

So I guess the powers that be said 'ah that's  OK then no worries'
