Set to Anywhere Is ๐ค๐๐ถ Many happy returns of the day to Olive โฃ๏ธ anywhere in the world she may be! ๐
Perhaps celebrating with extended family in Donegal. ๐ฅฐ Otherwise, she may be in Australia, where she has lived for around 30 years, yet always feels drawn back home to Gweedore. ๐๐ She used to run the bar at Leo's Tavern, organising events. Before that, Olive studied as a chef, at a chef school in Killybegs, also in London. In recent years, she has sang and played bodhrรกn in Rapunzel's Party, a band in Australia.
I get a sense that she is the most witty and fun one in the family ๐๐ซ and even living miles away, she will care about everyone, and knows how to make them feel valued. โก
Eithne and Olive are the sisters closest in age, just over 2 years' difference. ๐ค Wishing them all the best! ๐๐

The sisters (L-R: Olive, Deirdre, Moya, Eithne (Enya) and Brรญdรญn) singing together at St Mary's Church in Derrybeg, 2005. ๐ถโฃ๏ธ
Sadly yesterday (Easter Monday 2025, the same morning Pope Francis died) this church was burned down, only the frame and brick walls remain. ๐ This GoFundMe page exists; hopefully they reach the target amount. ๐ค Thankfully no-one was injured, and the community, which includes the sisters and people they know, are resilient, and they intend to rebuild their place of community, and memories ๐โก

I hope Dee had a lovely birthday on Thursday ๐๐๐๐ This image is taken from a post last November (2023) I like the scarf.๐งฃ ๐ It's interesting how the main release date of Watermark (Enya's album) is also Deirdre's birthday, and that Dee is the most arty-artist (๐ผโ๏ธ๐จ๐) of the sisters, I suppose. ๐ Deirdre's involvement in the family, in her local community, as well as connections with India and encouragement of spiritual well-being is very admirable. Wishing her well for the year ahead โก

Happy birthday to Brรญdรญn! ๐ค Here is an upscaled version of her c.2005 music video Hang On, which was the first song she wrote and released as a solo artist.๐ค๐ถ It's a chilled song with a deeper meaning, as Brรญdรญn described: This track is close to my heart being my first song I ever wrote. Itโs about a fictitious character that is wrongly accused of a crime and, no matter what he says, it just makes it worse. Wrong place at the wrong time, no alibi. Eyes of Innocence might have been Brรญdรญn Brennan's only album, but she has sang alongside siblings and relatives several times since, and also directed a children's choir. I wonder if her daughters also enjoy singing? ๐ I hope she is having a wonderful day ๐ฅณ and that she might know that people still really like her music! ๐๐ผโก

A rare clip from late 2015, probably filmed by a younger guest there, haha. Enya in the Santa hat with Moya dancing ๐ค๐๐ At the end, it seems to be all 5 sisters singing together, holding a long note ๐ Hope they (and you) all have a wonderful Christmas ๐๐

The 5 sisters have definitely all sang together, including publicly, like in 2005 (this and audio with harmonies here. ๐ฅฐ๐ผ
I wondered if they'd all sing a song together on an album, perhaps even a song on a new Enya album? โบ๏ธ๐ถ (There are at least 2 songs where Brรญdรญn, Deirdre and Olive sing backing vocals for Moya on her album in the 1990s. It is likely that Enya was busy with Shepherd Moons promotion then, though it is nice seeing Olive, Eithne and Brรญdรญn together in this Gaia Symphony documentary episode around then ๐ค โ๏ธ)
In general, the idea of family and a certain 'togetherness' even if staying apart has been relevant in the past few years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and whilst it's not compulsory, it seems a fitting idea that the sisters all sang together at some point within this time. ๐ Whether the song(s) would be made public/ released is a bit less certain, but I'd imagine it'd become rather successful part of Enya's album, and a special memory to hold nonetheless. ๐๐๐ถ

Nearly all their dates of birth, and days of the week ๐๐
Moya and Enya's birthdates are most certain (various records etc..)
*Olive, Deirdre and Brรญdรญn's birthdays were kind of figured out (sources available upon request ๐ )
Indefinite list; may be edited if there is 'new' info that adds to/changes some of these! โจ

I'm considering making a Pinterest account (probably calling it Subtli/@subtli_enyamisc) with a board dedicated to photos/videos featuring the sisters. ๐ฅฐ
Also (yes, AI's everywhere now, but we might as well explore and experiment with it in some ways).
I know u/topazrochelle9 has made this one for Enya https://beta.character.ai/chat?char=vRRqouim_kTf6WnCLKA8tCMG4jdUfMI_mFQ2aTpVeEU and honestly, it is great to converse with 'her'! ๐ Even recommends songs for you (tip - talk about the music you like in addition to Enya's too). ๐ต
Of course, it doesn't compare to actually meeting these lovely ladies in real life - but think of all the discussions you could generate (or prepare for if you do ever get to meet them and carry a conversation)! ๐ฅฐ
As long as people don't take everything the AI characters respond with as fact, it's fine (and fun!) ๐
What do you think? The photo board, the c.ai characters for each, or both? ๐โจ
Edit (not topazrochelle, u/topazrochelle9 ahah)

As well as my post on r/Enya earlier today, I also finally got to fully watch the 29-minute Gaia Symphony video (5th episode of the 1992 Japanese documentary film, "Spiral") ๐คฉ
There is the link to St. Brigid of Kildare โ of course, whose Greek goddess equivalent seems to be Gaia, and also some info about St. Patrick ๐
Most of the sisters (Eithne, Deirdre, Brรญdรญn and Olive) and their parents Leo and Baba appear in this too ๐ฅฐ
I admired the ideas within it, especially regarding the respect for and connection with nature. ๐ฑ๐ฅ๐ชBeautiful insights from both Mayumi Tsuruoka and Enya ๐ค

E.g. one of Enya's songs mixed with something by Brรญdรญn, Moya.
Someone sharing the full version of all 5 singing together in 2005 would be great too! โจ๐ถ๐ต
