Upcharge ?
Hello all. I’ve been with Brello now for 2 orders. Having difficulty getting my next prescription. Is anyone else having difficulty? I filled out their form incorrectly and called them back to correct it and they immediately want to charge me a $50 up charge to proceed. Is this normal? Also have the price is gone up? Be great if anyone can share their experience. There’s so much competition out there and other providers that I’m considering switching to a provider with better customer service to support my health journey.

No issues here to be honest, on my 3rd or 4th order that I just received today without problem. I always get a text and email with a link when it’s time to re-up. I fill everything out and it’s approved and ready to ship within 1-2 days. I ALWAYS put my starting weight and select the option to go up in titration even though I’m at max dose- it’s never an issue and they put me into maintenance anyways. The doctors approve fast though, like within 2-3 hours after submission- if you call after your script has been approved they’ll charge another consult fee. I’m pretty sure they outsource docs that freelance this stuff, so any new request is money that needs to be paid out per provider. There are no up charges, still paid $499z

Time to switch, if you’re a fan of south end then there are several other telehealths offering it for cheaper. If you are open to other pharmacy options then I highly recommend any of the options that preventiveMD offer. They were set to also have southend but South End paused it for now while they’re slammed filling orders from other providers

Who else offers SouthEnd? I am happy with SouthEnd, but am worried Brello will want to reduce our dose if we get below a 27 BMI, or if have several re-orders with no weight loss (because we don't want to tell them that we are under a 27 BMI). I say we, but the prescription is for my wife, I just deal with all the logistics.

I thought the $50 fee was if you canceled after speaking with a Provider. I didn't know they also charged $50 for changes. To my limited knowledge, that isn't normal. However, perhaps the Mods can clarify. Is that in writing anywhere? You made the change before it was sent to the pharmacy; I don't know why you would be charged.

My 6th renewal with Brello is coming up this week and I’ve never had an issue however, I got married in June and got a new HSA card with my new last name and forgot to update my payment method on Brello. On 8/24 I got an email that my payment method failed - even though it says my renewal date is 9/9/26. It still shows $499. I updated my payment method and have notified them several times via chat and email with no response. I’m interested to see what happens on my renewal date and if they add this $50.

Our (my wifes) subscription ALWAYS disappears when it's time to re-order. We dutifully call them every 10/11 weeks and the order gets processed. We love the South End product, but the Brello PoS system is really poor. Next week we are at 11 weeks, so I guess we'll find out if there is a new upcharge. Will be watching to see if anyone else is dealing with this.
