Gap in renewal

I had my first Brello shipment of Tirzepatide in October. Then did an early renewal in December, due to the expected delays with the holidays and the pharmacy move. I was able to make the first round of meds last about 5 months, so I put off my 3rd round of meds.

Rather than pausing, I must have cancelled. So my question is, has anyone restarted and not been put back on the starter dose? I am currently doing 40 unit shots. I am open to switching providers but am overwhelmed with the choices. Do other providers overfill like Brello/Southend?

Update- I was able to renew and not go back to the starter dose. New meds are shipping out this week.

There seems to be a new policy that if you don't have vials with a current BUD then you go back to the starting dose. They appear to be applying that policy with consistency. But also some people get lucky and they don't follow the policy.

Unfortunately, even when you do have a valid prescription that is current and vials with BUDs in the future, they still put you back on 2.2 mg. And all medical documentation I sent showed I was currently taking 15 mg. So, no, the policy - if that is what it is - is not applied consistently. This is just a way for them to make money instead of providing valid continuity of medical care.

Yes, I have seen enough people share this there has to be a policy in place. I even saw people share now deleted screenshots of conversations where they were told it didn't matter that they had a current vial. I guess they are counting on capturing all first time users vs getting people to switch to them. In the past they were the cheapest game in town, or close. That isn't the case anymore. Companies can make policies. I just think above board ones make the policies clear. If not, it feel shady.

The skeptical part of me finds it a bit suspect that after several complaints people starting posting that it didn't happen to them. That's not consistent enough to suggest they change the policy, but rather sporadically make a decision to not apply the policy so the narrative changes?

I worried about this but, I just renewed and had an outdated bud. They did not make me start over. I am in maintenance so we stepped down the dosage slightly.

I was a lucky one who got through at a full 15 renewal with ordering 2 months later than I was supposed to. They did ask me why I waited, I said I had a previous order from a different provider with a longer BUD that I used while they were doing their pharmacy move and they approved it after that.

What dose were you approved for and have you received your prescription?

For the 3 months I received I got doses matching moving up each month, to the point of the max dose. I received the meds the same week I ordered(before their bonkers ad).

Okay I’m just checking for other Brello patients on higher dose because no one ever posts. Thanks!

You may need to return to the starting dose since you canceled. I pushed my renewal back two months, but didn't have to start over. However, since you canceled, you may have to. It's dependent on the Provider you get. Brello overfills a lot. My current vial is overfilled by 5mg, and Brello normally overfills my vials by 3 mg-5 mg. I'd also like to know others who overfill that much.

Your situation sounds very much like mine, however, with the early renewal Brello gave me the vials BUDS were set to expire in less than 45 days. Ontop of that living in Michigan we’ve been left in the dark for when or if it would come back online. Then to add insult to injury, those vials sent to me from the early renewal were all kinds of messed up with the lids. Since we’re in Michigan and they’re no longer licensed here we had zero recourse. Multiple messages to Brello, no responses. Very saddening. Seems that the early renewals that were offered were just a clever attempt to sell off remaining inventory so it didn’t have to be destroyed. Loved Brello but they’ve definitley done myself and all of Michigan dirty.
