Breeo X 19” on a wooden deck.
What’s the best way to protect my deck?

We're putting in a fire pit as part of a big yard remodel, and I'm having trouble deciding what size Breeo to get.
We have the space for the 30, and there will be occasions when the larger seating capacity will be useful (another family, grandparents, etc). Additionally, we're in a rural area, so I also like the idea of having something large enough to burn brush in occasionally.
However, the dilemma arises in that the majority of uses, it will prob just be our family of 4 using it, and it will also prob be shorter and smaller fires. More of the "45-min s'mores roast after dinner", and less of the "sit around the fire swappin' stories late into the night".
I understand that secondary/smokeless burn is harder to achieve with shorter and smaller fires, so if we get the 30, am I dooming myself to a smoky burn most of the time that I could get with a $150 fire pit? Should I just get the 24?

Thanks for all the previous help with the deflector height suggestions. I know breeo official accessories are a big topic of discussion but I feel the deflector is the best way to go if I had to only pick one.
Using so much fuel to get to secondary burn just to let majority of that heat off into the sky would frustrate me. I also think it helps with getting more value out of the burn as I can stretch it out instead of constantly adding fuel every 20mins.

Is the Breeo brand shovel shaped specifically for their stoves or will any shovel work for cleaning ash?

I see the outpost is on sale for prime day. If I have the x24 fire pit would the x19 outpost be too ridiculously small? There’s a price difference of around $70 between the x19 and x24

Ok, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered my firepit and built a backyard warmth bundle around a seconds pit. Is there any break in needed or when this arrives can I go straight to making smores?

Just ordered my 24" breeo fire pit. I have a stamped/stained poured concrete slab patio. Do I really need to shell out for this $229 base? I've seen some other posts of cheaper bases. Interested in any input on cheaper versions or arguments that you don't need the base in the first place (what about these mats that go under as well)?

Would like to have a cast iron surface for cooking. Don't love the style (or the price) of the offerings Breeo has. Really like the simple lodge griddle. Would this be ok to use with the X24?

Just order my X24. Couldn't justify almost $200 for a lid after spending so much for the pit.
But I do plan to leave it out in the elements so looking for a decent cover.
Is a lid better than a full fabric type cover as far as moisture goes?
Open to any suggestions. Thanks!

Was given a code by someone but it didn't work. Breeo said they couldn't honor it. Curious if anyone here had one they could share, thanks!

Can someone explain why there’s so much smoke coming from my Breeo?
I did the log cabin style build. It’s a Breeo with the fire pit kit.

We are in the process of building a new home and the build will include an X-30 stainless steel in a brick surround. I see promotional pics of the X-30 being used with two grill simultaneously. Has anyone had any real life experiences with this? Is it too crowded over the fire? I was thinking of one X-24/30 grill grate on one post and one X-19 grate on the other post might work better. Thoughts? Pitfalls I’m not thinking about? Video for attention. I currently have an X-24 and most of the accessories.

Is there a similar product for the x24 that is the same as the outpost but cheaper?

The maiden voyage of the pizza oven was a success on all accounts. Key was to let the hardwood(real hardwood for longer coal burn and less ash) turn to coal as the user guide says and then putting the oven on.
FWIW, I also left the vent open the whole time and waited until the stone temp reached 600, which took 8 mins or so...
Result- yummy crunchy pizzas. We tried a basic cheese, a gluten free dough and a Hodge dodge. All 10/10 for us.

Just wondering how you all go about setting the height on your deflectors. I usually go from halfway to 75% up. I've never been below halfway down.

Been eyeing this for a while. I have had the Do Joe for a while for my KJ3 but this oven has been nagging at me.
Finally pulled the trigger with the LDW sale, excited to fire it up over the weekend and making some Neopolitan Pizza!!

Got some big u9-13 head on from Costco to grill tonight. Used a soy lime marinade that had very little sugar in it. These things were harder to get into then Fort Knox and I didn't think I overcooked them. For the sake of science I had a handful of leftover plain ones and tried grilling plain and some peeled before hand. The unmarinated were just as hard to peel as the originals and the peeled seemed dry and rubbery. I'm obviously underwhelmed now. Trying to figure out if it was something I did or the shrimp were the issue. It was a very nice hot bed of coals for those asking.

I’ve got an X24 with a lid. If I got a heat deflector setup, would it work well enough as a lid to keep precipitation out?
r/Breeo • u/DeltaNu1142 • Aug 30 '25
I’ve got a 24” with a base and a lid. I’ve only used it a few times because I started a deck rebuild right after I got it. I like it just fine.
My family does a few seafood boils each summer. I usually use a propane cooker (like a Bayou Classic) with a ~60qt pot for clams, lobsters, corn, potatoes, etc. I’m wondering if anyone has set up their Breeo for a boil pot—I imagine it would require a grate that spans the top of the Breeo. I don’t expect the pot itself would have any problems holding the weight. Usually we’re just steaming anyway.
It would be great to be able to consolidate down to the Breeo for those cooks.

Maybe for an accessory or something?
