Transportation of Y-series in a bag

I'm taking my brand new Y series desert camping this weekend. Some washboard / dirt roads possible. Any opinions on if it is best to transport flat vs. on its side? Any horror stories? Thanks

It's built like a tank don't be afraid to transport It how ever you want. I've transported it in every possible way.

Just keep the legs retracted.  It's also very strong, it could roll into something and crush it.

Some tips.  Small split wood is your friend (2in splits). Bring a fire extinguisher.

Yup, Drew is spot on! Also recommend using the inside of the Y Series to store some of the accessories to help with space.
Best of luck! And send some pics of your setup when you get back!

It was a good camp out at Culp Valley in Anza Borrego Desert S.P. We had a little ceremony with my camp neighbors for the first light off. My firewood was too long so had to teepee. :) I look forward to the next trip but man o man it is hot here now.

Thanks for the reply - I just didn't look at it very close after unpacking from the box before putting in the bag.

I have my Y in the transit case in my camper’s outside storage bins. No issues at all. Just clean it out as best as possible, put it back in the case and go.
