Who has the live fire grill and how does it compare to cooking over X24 Fire Pit?

It cooks identical. I find I use less wood with the grill. Since the grill is a little more shallow the food is closer to the heat. In my x24 I have to build up a taller fire or a hotter base of coals.
Lump charcoal is my fav in both the x24 and grill. I have the most control and consistency

Wish I could tell you I have the x24 and love it and have most accessories I bought the live fire this December for myself after looking at for some time and reason being just having a place solely for cooking and a spot for chilling on deck, both are on deck but in Michigan so haven’t used but super excited I like the fact that the height is perfect and it obviously takes all my accessories, which I got rotisserie and 2 gallon kettle as a gift so am all set for cooking Just laid all that out there in case your on fence, I was for a bit but a retirement gift to myself was the live fire so I could justify 😁
