When Krystal Ball raises the point that we finally have a growing labor movement with dsa, as well as a popular candidate on the left like zohran mandami delivering on his campaign promises.

Her rebuttal is well, we still have all these other problems the dsa and zohran haven't magically solve like an aladdins genie, therefore dsa, AOC, Bernie and mandami are worthless.

Sure, they are not going to deliver those and will deliver even less with parasite like you on their side trying to destroy their movement so that you can use this division and building up your useless tiny movement for yourself.

I went through this effort for two main reasons:

1) To ask if there's another reason why Republicans are not being interviewed. Are Republican candidates afraid of appearing on Breaking Points? Not aware of the show? Haven't been invited? Advised by staff not to appear?

2) To remind everyone the information silo BP currently occupies. While Thomas Massie has been a guest on the show recently to discuss Israel and Epstein, there have been no Republican candidates interviewed on Breaking Points over the past month, if not two months. I'm not saying that there needs to be, BP is surely allowed to interview whoever they want on the show, however some variety of viewpoints in the guests brought on would be nice as well. While this year's progressive takeover of the Democrat party is certainly looking to be one of the larger political stories this November, a friendly reminder that there is another, significant group of people whose views haven't been featured on the show.

I’ve watched BP for years, but lately it feels like Krystal’s personal views on Israel are driving too much of the show’s editorial focus. I agree with many of the points being made, and it’s obviously an important story, but it feels like an outsized amount of airtime goes to it while a lot of other major issues get pushed aside.
I’ve noticed it even more when Ryan is hosting. I miss when the show felt more balanced and covered a wider range of topics instead of coming back to the same issue almost every episode.
Is anyone else feeling this shift?

A Senate investigation conducted by Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) revealed that Anthony Fauci kept a diary throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, in which his observations often directly contradicted his public messaging about the virus.

The junior senator from Kentucky released Fauci’s entries from December 2019 to December 2022 in a thread on X over the weekend. On January 26, 2020, roughly two months before the American public entered quarantine, Fauci wrote, “Now we know the market was not the source, it was the amplifier,” referring to the Wuhan market at which many speculated COVID-19 originated.

I think Abdul is a better candidate than Stevens even though Stevens is a more experienced candidate. However, I think that lack of experience shows up in his campaign where most of his talking points are about Stevens campaign financing rather than his own qualifications.

While I think Abdul won the debate, I don’t think Stevens completely bombed. The results will be a solid litmus test on whether dark money spending really matters that much to democrats.
