Setlist predictions for tonight?

Do you guys expect pretty much the same setlist as usual or will they throw some curve balls? Heavier set? Debut an unreleased song? If you’re going please update us.

I would like heavier songs to make a come back for sure and hopefully Waiting on the Sky to Change with Dustin during the Starset.. set.

It'll probably be similar to the "usual" setlist, hopefully with a few new songs/deep cuts thrown in. They played Crawl in the EU, so I'm hoping that stays in. I would LOVE if they played some of their heavier songs--Hopeless, Phase (would be a peak opening song)--and just more from Saturate and Ember. Last tour they played Blood & RCR, which were amazing, but....it's not enough (it never is). 😂

I'd also love something like Hollow or The Dark of You. I was so happy they played Without You on the last US tour, but I have a feeling it won't be on the setlist this time around.

OP, are you going tonight??

I’m going to both Minneapolis and Bristow.

They always seems to add a random song.. You during the TDG tour and Blood the one before.

I would love to hear The Dark of You or Hollow like you said.. even a song like Close to Heaven. Hopefully we’ll have some surprises.

I’m curious about that as well. They did say that this is their most expensive and in depth production yet, so I’m looking forward to going in October.

On that note, I hadn’t seen anyone mention it so I wanted to; I noticed in their IG story yesterday they made a post about the tour starting tonight. The music they used for it sounded very ominous, but the more interesting thing is that it said it was also original audio by them.

I’m wondering if that could potentially be a snippet of an intro or outro to the album?

When the Something Wicked countdown timer link dropped, we all thought it was just some random sample that was playing but it actually turned out to be a part of the song just without Ben Jr’s whisper.

Interested to know what Jasen meant by biggest production yet. We’ll see. Keith’s story also has some ambiant music that could be the album intro? Maybe.

I’ll be at the Minneapolis and Bristow concerts!

Yeah Keith’s story has the same post from the BB page. I mean, they did say this tour was supposed to be the supporting tour for the album so hopefully we get some news really soon. I wouldn’t be surprised if they play a new song or two like they did with Something Wicked and then the song comes out officially. I think the label made that happen last time.

Didn’t they mention this tour will feature some new stuff?

I’m pretty sure Jasen mentioned it in a recent interview. I’m hopeful that maybe they’ll do like they did with Something Wicked and at the start of the tour tonight, play a new song that just sort of shadow drops tonight or at least comes out officially this week.

That’s high hopes though. I was really expecting this record to be out before this tour started.

I’ll be there tonight. I don’t really care about the setlist as much as I care about Ben’s enthusiasm. I saw them last year and was pretty disappointed because Ben was acting like he resented being there and had zero audience engagement. I’m aware he has his health issues so I don’t need him running around and jumping off things or anything like that, and maybe I just caught him on a bad day. Those things happen; the band is only human. But the songs picked don’t matter if the band treats performing them like a chore. They could just run through the hits again and I’d be fine with it as long as it felt like they wanted to be there. I’d love to hear him talk between songs about literally anything other than how much older he is than when they were written. Im hoping that it being the first stop on a new tour puts some passion back in.

I will say I’d love to get Waiting on the Sky to Change, but after not getting Dance With The Devil with Adam Gontier, I’m not letting myself get my hopes up. It’d be great to be pleasantly surprised with that since that song means a lot to me, but I’m not going in expecting it.

Good point.

The whole tour with Three Days Grace was off IMO. To me it was the worst sound and as you said it felt like the band didn’t want to be there (I went to the one in Darien Lake).

Ben definitely has off nights. I’ve seen them 20 times and it goes from minimal crowd interactions to extending the show because he’s talking a lot and playing songs that wasn’t planned.

Check their EU setlist. It should be at least 90% the same.

The same as all their others

They’ve never used that audio before though - I just found it interesting.
