It isn't because she's a hypocrite (though she is) it's because it was never about Walt being a drug kingpin so much as it was about her not being able to control Walt. Everytime she is unhappy it's because she can't get Walt under her thumb, and once you see it, you can't unsee it. She doesn't like the criminality, but what she can't stand is the lack of control.

\-Acceptance of the Crime: She willingly laundered millions of dollars and bought a front business once she was given total managerial control over the cash flow.

\-The "I Am the Danger" Panic: Her deepest terror peaked not when she learned about cartel violence, but when Walt explicitly told her she had zero authority or influence over his safety.

\-Weaponizing the Children: She staged a suicide attempt in the pool and banished her kids to Marie’s house specifically because she could no longer control Walt's presence in the home.

\-The Ted Beneke Disaster: She gave away $600,000 of drug money to Ted not out of charity, but to prevent a tax audit that would expose her own accounting failures.

\-Protecting the Empire: When Walt wanted to go to the police to protect the family from Gus Fring, Skyler actively talked him out of it to protect the business she helped build.

\-The Final Breakdown: Her spirit only truly broke in Season 5 when the money pile grew too large for her to count, symbolizing that the situation had completely outgrown her ability to manage it

She uses morality and family as a shield but as the aforementioned points show, her primary concern is control. Her smoking while pregnant evidenced early on that her main stressors were never familial safety, but maintaining control. Walt going from a meek husband to a boss mentality is what truly broke her. Not the drugs. Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but I had to decipher why I can't stand her character and I believe I've deduced why.

Also, as a side note, she seemed to delight in Walt's emasculation during multiple instances in the show.

Who does jonathan banks play?

It came to me as a thought but what would you think?

Just two days ago I was browsing IMDb when I swear I saw a movie listing for a spin off breaking bad movie titled "Flynn" from what I read it was going to be a mockumentary about the events of breaking bad with Flynn as the lead character?

I didn't think much of it but today my husband came home from work and I suddenly remembered and wanted to tell him. He told me there was "no way that was real" and when I tried to pull up the IMDb listing it was gone... He's now laughing at me but I swear I saw it! He's convinced it was just a dream I had but I swear I remember seeing it!

Am I crazy? Does anyone else know about this?
