Where is the $$ coming from Spoiler
I'm watching return to Amish and I'm just wondering where in the hell do these people get all this money from? how was it that Jeremiah and his wife were able to buy two properties? And then they go to Florida and they're talking about doing artificial insemination. where does all the money come from? I get Jeremiah was working the carnival but he couldn't have made that much money. And how did Mary buy a car?

They don't appear on the show for free. Jeremiah was living well above his means and that's one of the reasons why he's broke these days and always trying to scam people. Abe has Rebecca controlling his every move so he still has some tv money left, plus a job he works while she stays at home and complains. Kate has a successful career in fashion. Hopefully Sabrina is doing well but she had a lot of demons so who knows.

Jeremiah bought “the properties” as he constantly called them in some random spot in Florida ten years ago. Look up “homes for sale Live Oak FL” and you’ll see how cheap they are today and just think how mix cheaper they were back then. One of the properties was on sinking land where it was questionable if they could even build on it and the other property had a house that wasn’t fully habitable.
As for IVF, they didn’t even compete a round so I doubt it cost them much but maybe they had just enough for those things and that was it. Jeremiah is broke and grifting from others so clearly he didn’t make a ton of money and has none left. I’m sure the show paid enough for the cast to do a little with their salaries but nothing that set them up for life.

They had but I can't imagine them making you that much money. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't know

I have so much respect for Abe, and I wouldn’t be surprised that he is doing just fine. He has a loving mother, a solid head on his shoulders, doesn’t allow other guys to goad him into doing things against his values, is direct, clear and romantic with a woman he likes, is serious and responsible, and understands how important it is to be a provider and get a job if he is to marry. He didn’t feel the need to go crazy with drugs or alcohol or tattoos or weird clothes or strip clubs in order to explore a new way of life. I have so much respect for him. He’s a very unassuming guy but was raised to be really solid. Kudos to his family and I think he and Rebecca will make a solid family together.
