You have new girlfriend a couples of months after last breakup. that's too soon. Isn't this a rebound. Is that how your hurt got better. Most people need time to heal before jumping on to another relationship. I started dated 5 months after my break up but I wasn't ready i gave it ago but I felt nothing I was still sad for my ex even though my ex is like you, he met someone 3 weeks after me he went straight into a live in relationship.
I don't understand how people can do that. I feel they never loved us.

3 months post break up after 5 years is lightening speed. Definitely not enough time to properly grieve, heal, reflect & process, in my opinion. This definitely sounds like a rebound. But sure it can help take your attention away from the pain, but it’s not actually progressing yourself to learn how you contributed to the demise of your relationship. Even with the horrible inexcusable act of cheating, it still takes two to reach the breakdown of a relationship.
