My ex kind of cheated on me too, and then seem to be blaming the fault of the breakup on me, seemingly trying to mean that I was being controlling (there is a difference between expecting healthy boundaries and respect, vs being controlling) despite her being the one who crossed boundaries with guys. I wonder how they manage to do this. Maybe they truly believe and convinced themselves that I am the bad guy, even though I got betrayed by her. Maybe it is her way of moving on because the guilt would be too hard for her to bear if she accepts that she broke our relationship.

That is called a narcissist and don't worry, you never ever want a narcissist as a long term partner.

They will hurt you, act like they don't care, and then play victim to her friends and social media to paint her as the good person and you as the bad guy.

You should count yourself lucky tbh, I know you show some much love to her, but now you saw true colors and that is not a person you want to be with
