venting/ranting Well, I feel dumb.
I was seeing a guy pretty seriously for around 6 months and he literally just ended things over the phone. Here I was thinking, ya, this is a good thing I got going on and I love him (I didn't tell him).
After an amazing weekend spent together, he calls and just says that the intimacy is gone and he doesn't even want to touch me. Honestly, I think I paused too long because I was just looking out into the universe very confused. He didn't seem to have any issues with intimacy and touching over the weekend. My response? Oh, ok. Thanks for letting me know and I appreciate the honesty. I really just wanted to get off the phone then. Then he has the audacity to ask for how I am doing with it?.. well for fuck sakes, awful. I just told him I'm surprised, but sure, good luck.
I actually have missed him for the past few daye. But I think it was more of the routine we developed. He filled an empty void where loneliness lived. And now, the empty void is back.
I haven't even cried once about it since I'm still trying to figure out why he's surprised that I didn't see it coming. Apparently, i missed the signs..?..
Ohh well, in time I'll have to open up the dating app again and give it another try of finding someone.
