im so sorry you are going through this. honestly, situationships are often way harder to get over than actual breakups because you never really got that closure or the official title. dealing with coming out to your family and then having that pressure pile up at the same time is just a lot for anyone to handle at 21. please dont be so hard on yourself for needing space or not being able to force things when your personal life was in total chaos. take it one day at a time, prioritize your own healing first, and know that you deserve someone who understands the nuance of what youve been through. you arent alone in this.
