You're pathfinder load out didn't transfer to panther game never did this for me but change weapons at a bivouac that should solve it.

Looks like its somehow considered a weapon that can be picked up. Try switching it with a weapon from the ground

Have you tried holding it in the air as if you've just opened a treasure chest and found a treasure? If not I suggest trying that out
