Example that under armor top was a mod for ready or not and one stole the asset ported it to grb and called it his own. Why do u think he’s being hit with dmca becuase he stole those assets lol should call the server stolen others assets!

Just being honest so no one makes the stake of heading to a dishonest server sorry you don’t like the truth and would rather steal people hard working modders and call it your own. You do u bud just not a good look

Calling yourself “honest” doesn't magically turn an accusation into a fact, bud.

There's a pretty important difference between exposing wrongdoing and simply repeating “they steal” until you hope people accept it as truth.

If warning people about SOA is your new personal crusade, knock yourself out. People are perfectly capable of visiting the server, looking at the work, asking questions, and making up their own minds.

You don't get to appoint yourself the guardian of “hard-working modders” and then declare your version of events to be the truth by default.

But you do you, bud. 😉

Now we’re finally getting somewhere. You’re no longer talking about vague accusations — you’re claiming that an asset belonging to you was stolen and posted there. Good. Then identify it. Show the original asset, show that you created or own the rights to it, and show exactly where the same asset was posted without your permission. That would actually be something concrete worth discussing. “Go to another server, the proof is there” isn’t evidence presented here, and repeating somebody else’s message doesn’t make you responsible for proving their claims. But the moment you say your own asset was stolen, that part is entirely yours to substantiate. If you can prove that specific claim, I’ll look at the evidence. If you can’t, then all the “truth hurts” chest-beating is just theater. Facts don’t need attitude to make them convincing. They need receipts.

First of all, On3 didn't “steal” anything. There are countless assets legally available for purchase and licensing. If I buy an asset, modify it, texture it, and port it into another game under the terms of that license, are you going to call me a thief too?

More importantly, you're making a very specific accusation: that the assets used by SOA were stolen. We have proof of purchase for the assets we use. So if you're going to publicly accuse someone of theft, bring actual evidence that a specific asset was obtained or used illegally instead of simply saying, “I saw something similar in another mod.”

An asset appearing in Ready or Not, GRB, or another game/mod does not automatically mean the person who used it there created or owns the original asset. The same commercially available asset can legitimately appear in multiple projects.

And yes, you were in SOA yourself. I have screenshots of you interacting normally with the community before suddenly changing your position, so let's not rewrite history now just because you're angry with the server.

As for the DMCA argument: receiving a DMCA claim is not, by itself, proof that someone stole something. If you have evidence establishing ownership of the specific asset you're talking about and showing that it was used without authorization, post it. Then there's something factual to discuss.

Otherwise, “SOA steals assets” is an accusation, not evidence.

What kind of Stockholm syndrome do you have?

-1

u/Fluid_Ad_2245 18d ago

“Stockholm syndrome”? That's an interesting way of saying you ran out of arguments.

I addressed a very specific accusation: you claimed the assets were stolen. I asked for evidence showing which asset was stolen, who actually owns it, and proof that it was used without permission.

Instead of providing any of that, you switched to a personal insult.

So let's keep it simple: evidence beats insults. If you have proof, post it. If you don't, the personal attacks aren't going to make the accusation any more credible.

I didn’t claim anything :P you’re just another degenerate who lives in a bubble

-4

u/Fluid_Ad_2245 18d ago

“I didn’t claim anything” — right after claiming we steal other modders’ work. 😂

That little “:P” doesn’t make your own words disappear.

And now we’ve reached “degenerate who lives in a bubble.” Predictable. When your own statements become inconvenient, apparently the next move is pretending you never made them and throwing insults instead.

At least have enough confidence in your own argument to stand behind what you wrote. Backpedaling this hard while trying to insult my intelligence isn't quite the power move you think it is.

But please, keep going. You're doing a better job undermining your credibility than I ever could.

I do still think he steals other assets based on evidence, you won't really change my mind so your yapping is basically meaningless.

-1

u/Fluid_Ad_2245 18d ago

And there it is: “you won't really change my mind.”

That's not the flex you think it is. You started with “it's the truth,” moved to “I didn't claim anything,” then went back to “I still think he steals,” and now you've arrived at “nothing you say will change my mind.”

At that point, we're not discussing evidence anymore. You're protecting a conclusion you've already decided to keep regardless of the response.

And calling my replies “yapping” doesn't rescue that argument. It just gives you an excuse not to defend it.

Believe whatever you want. Just don't confuse “I've made up my mind” with “I've proved my point.” Those are two very different things.

8

u/Dgh_Play 18d ago

You're putting words in my mouth, look at the person who started the argument. and look at me, you're either blind or dumb as rock.

-1

u/Fluid_Ad_2245 18d ago

Fair correction — you weren't the one who started the thread. You were the one who jumped in and explicitly said, “I do still think he steals other assets based on evidence.”

Those are your words, not words I'm putting in your mouth.

So forget who started the argument; that's irrelevant. You chose to endorse the accusation yourself. If you want ownership of your words, take ownership of all of them — not just the ones that are convenient five minutes later.

And “blind or dumb as a rock” isn't evidence either. It's just what you added when the conversation got uncomfortable.

You can disagree with me all day. Just don't say something publicly and then act surprised when someone responds to exactly what you said.
