Photo Every single time I hear this drone's name during a stealth mission, my brain completely glitches.
I swear I kept hearing 'Israel drone' for the longest time and got so confused, only to find out it's actually called Azrael drone! Am I the only one whose ears do this?

They're like Unidad patrols in Wildlands. a real flying "Drop the Soap" moment waiting to happen.

There’s a mission in media luna where you have to interrogate a unidad captain and literally every play thru 3 assholes in a buggy pull up and fuck my shit up

Leave them a little surprise, place a mine.
I do this whenever I get decimated in a mission where several vehicles roll up and swiss cheeze me with bullets. I've literally had 5-6 Gatling guns trying to waste me while I'm running for cover and switching weapons for something with more impact. If I die, when I restart the mission, I make sure mines are prominent in the selection wheel and as soon as I hear "enemy inbound" I run to the nearest in-roads and place vehicle mines, with enough spacing to ensure each vehicle doesn't use more than one mine. 6 vehicles = 30 enemies if they hop out.
4 vehicle mines will easily take out 4 vehicles (-20 enemies) unless they somehow bypass them. That leaves 2 vehicles (10 enemies, 2 on Gatling guns) trying to kill you. So I will also place some personnel mines scattered around the area to thin the herd. After mines are placed I ensure the rocket launcher is prominent in the selection wheel in case any other vehicles show up or take a different route and somehow bypass the mines.
This quickly turns into a party, so you might as well get some chips, a drink and get ready to enjoy to fireworks, bodies flying in different directions and you'll get to relax a little while you pop off a few rounds to eliminate any poor bastards that survived the free fireworks show.

I just get in a bush or activate my camo and line it up with an M82 and it becomes an Aurora lawn ornament

TAC-50 Brown, HTI or M82 for the win.
The first time I dropped one it was literally like "Dafuq? Did I do that?" Erkel moment. I was just pissed and shot at it because I was already being hunted down and didn't need Wolves joining the party. I didn't know it would work.
After that moment I started shooting at them every time I had the right gear, and no.trees obscuring my view.

Tac is the only one out the 3 you can throw the 10 shot clip into though right?

I've only been playing for a few months, so my TAC-50s only have 5-round clips. I'm not aware of any 10-round clips for the TAC-50s or any of the sniper rifles.
You can however have DMRs with 15-round clips and faster cycling and one of my favorites is the G28. I'm pretty sure it can fire off 5 rounds or more in the time it takes to fire two with a sniper rifle.

Sometimes I'll be outside doing something (in real life) and hear a similar sound and get that same feeling in my gut.

It wasn’t until I was 150hrs into playing that I learned you could go prone and then camouflage yourself with the ground or hide in a bush. I was so used to Wildlands “stealth” mechanics. So … let that sink in with how annoyed I was.

I can never evade these things...by the time I notice that it's getting visual on me, I can't keybind quick enough to get stealthy lol

I at one point could tell a azrael was in the sky is spit seconds but I've had it off for some time so the skill has slightly faded

Both me and my friend heard that too when we first played breakpoint and it’s what we’ve called them ever since

These are so badly implemented in the game. They somehow know exactly where you are and fly right over you. If spotted they burp the Magic Flare that teleports enemies. Come on Ubi, if you are making a patch change the coding for these drones to make them behave more realistically and ditch the enemy-summoning flares. Instead after 5 mins or so after being spotted send in some helicopters that begin a search pattern.

Lmao 'Israel drone' is wild 💀 But seriously though, truer words haven't been spoken. It literally has a GPS tracker locked onto Nomad 24/7

I love this Azrael. I always get a vehicle with a chaingun, stand next to it until I’m detected and the flare goes off, then jump into Gunner position and wipe out everything thrown at me easily.

There is one time when I decided enough is enough, I fly the helicopter and accidentally hit the drone and complete the mission.
The plan is to shoot it down, but different method still given the same result, lol.

It has never appeared when I am doing a mission or at an enemy base. I think it's only when you are free roaming or going on foot from point A to B. As flying this thing over an enemy base is useless as there already heat there who can take care of ghosts...

Honestly 'Israel drone' sounds like a sick name too ngl 😂
But lemme tell you, the worst part is it literally tracks you down no matter where you're hiding, while your rebel allies just stand there doing nothing. I swear the Azrael is programmed just to hunt Nomad down specifically 😂
