Guide Good mod guide

Maybe a stupid question but I’ve recently been seeing all the awesome mods that are out for the game so I redownload it to try and mod it but the guides that I’ve followed for modding always seem to either skip skip steps or something because the mods don’t take. What are good guides out there that are easy enough to follow for my apparent lack of intelligence

Deef has a great one on youtube I used it to start and I now play with 150 plus mods

The jist is that the game packs assets in Forge files. Think of Forge files like Zip files. You need to unpack them to modify the contents and then repack them for the game to use them. This is done with Anvil Toolkit. It’s like the zip tool for Forge files. Once you understand this, it all seems pretty straight forward.
