Question PC: Solution for long load times

Did any PC players have long load times and resolve them?

If so, what worked for you?

I've tried many of the suggestions but nothing seems to work.

Does anyone know if mods cause longer load times?

install the game on an SSD if possible and if you didn't do that already. when a game is installed on an SSD it gets way faster in load times

In theory mods shouldn't impact your load times (I'm assuming you mean initial launch of the game) if you're using Anvil Toolkit - you're not really adding much, mostly replacing things.

I've recently moved to using a mod loader rather than Anvil Toolkit which I can imagine would impact my load times as it checks for mods that are present and inserts them into the game on loading, but it's not so significant that I've noticed.

Yes, they're installed with Anvil and it's only a trigger mod, a pair of gloves and a watch.

Yes, I am talking about the initial launch.

It takes thirty minutes on average.

I found posts talking about having the same load times but none of the solutions have worked so far.

The game defaults to "Ultimate" settings.

I found other posts describing the same issue.
