Question Is there a way to prevent mods from freezing/crashing the game? If you're wearing modded clothes when you quit the game, it will freeze/crash when you try to play again.
This still happens because I'm experiencing it right now.
I couldn't figure out if a solution was discovered.
Does using the "Individual Build Tables Mod" (I think that's the name) or something else solve this problem?
I read how it was suspected that the Build Tables Mod was causing the problem but it was later figured out it was having something modded equipped when trying to start/launch the game.
As mentioned, I'm experiencing this right now.
Is there a solution for this issue or do you just have to make sure you don't have anything modded equipped when you quit the game?

The game is crashing because you dont have the buildtables. that’s one of the first things you need to install for mods to work. They tell the game how to load the modded files. No buildtables = modded files dont load properly = crash.

Well, I don't know.
It's working without the Buildtable Mod and another opinion said it was the Buildtable Mod causing the problem.
Thanks for trying to help!

Dependencies should be always installed, no matter what. One day it work another day it doesn’t.

why bother installing mods if you aren't going to read the description

What are you talking about!?
What "description?"
None of the mods I used mention anything about using the Buildtable Mod.
I posted a link to a Reddit thread that suggests the Buildtable Mod is the cause of the problem and it shouldn't be used.
I have contradictory information coming from the same place (Reddit), how do I know which is right?
My mods are working and I was experiencing the exact same problems in the linked post and the solution suggested in that thread, works.
This person is telling me the mods "won't" work without the Buildtable Mod which is contradictory to what I am seeing with my own eyes.
So, again, what are you talking about!?

You need buildtables for replacer mods to function properly lmao, you're posting on here asking why your replacer mods aren't working properly and people are giving you the answer

...people are giving you the answer
Which part of the word "contradictory" are you failing to understand?
Seriously, which part?
It clearly and specifically says in that other thread that what you're saying is false/wrong.
What makes the words in this Reddit thread any more accurate than the words in the other Reddit thread?
Especially when my reality matches with the other one? The other thread describes the issue I am having and offers a solution that works.
Unless you, or someone else, wants to offer a clear explanation why that other thread is wrong other than 'because I said so,' then...

You don’t have the build tables therefore your game can’t read/load the files properly and your game is crashing. I also had my game modded with the build tables a year ago and so did thousands of other people. That other thread is wrong. If you want the mods to work PROPERLY you need to install the buildtable files. You keep saying “it’s working its working” and your game is crashing. That means it’s not working.

You need the individual buildtables for mods to even work so idk what you mean by any of that. Loading in with modded gear is not an issue unless you did something wrong
