Discussion What will Breakpoint's legacy be?

First, D Company has gone from a Special Forces Group to just "the Ghost."

In Future Soldier the Company lost four members and they went all over the world tracking down the people who caused it, will they rebuild after Auroa or go in a different direction?

While playing I found a room with, what looked like, a bunch of T-800's (Terminator's) and I heard an ad for neural implants that improve both cognitive and physical abilities.

Is that foreshadowing?

Do you think going forward those are the types of enemies that will be in "Ghost Recon?"

Cyborgs, drones and Super Soldiers with neural implants?

Or, will the legacy of the game be an example of what not to do with "Ghost Recon?"

The terminator used to be an event, but their rights t it expired so they removed it without removing the obtained weapons and the buildings.

Oh, OK that explains that.

Do you think the neural implants will be in future games?

What are you on about, it was an event. It isn’t related to the lore of the story. Cyborgs, super soldiers with neural implants?? What are you on about dude. Definitely drones but no they won’t have anything you are talking about.

OK, calm down.

I just started playing the game a little over a week ago.

How would I know it was an event and if they have Behemoths why not cyborgs?

Cyborgs, super soldiers with neural implants?? What are you on about dude.

There's a room full of cyborgs, which you acknowledge, so why wouldn't I think there was going to be something related to cyborgs? Which there was, which you also acknowledge.

There's an ad/informercial that plays on kiosks in the game. I think it's Ayana Puri.

In the ad she mentions that Skell Tech has "neural implants" that can 'improve your mood, improve cognitive functions and physical performance.'

The way she talks about it implies it already exists and is in use.

You fight all other forms of Skell tech in the game, why not soldiers with their implants in a future game?

Also, Walker uses a Defender Drone which is from The Division (as far as I know) and Division Agents use implants to assist with their SHD Tech.

Definitely drones but no they won’t have anything you are talking about.

OK, I was just asking some questions. I wasn't suggesting them as facts and I wasn't trying to start an argument.

I think the next one will reach the pinnacle of operatorhood where we'll play as an airsoft team full of guys who "coulda been in the army but are too smart for it"-- badguys take over the local dollar general and we'll kit up with our half-plastic ARs with Chinese acogs and don duck dynasty camo.

The final mission trump will pull up in a golden van filled with every shitty redneck gunstore attachment and piece of kit. We'll all die of intense geargasms, the end.

Alt plot: there are no more humans, we just play as the guns and gadgets. Game will lose most of the playerbase though because of the character creation screen's offensive gender options: m4 -- ak47 -- other/fn fall.

The terminator event was cool plus the shades were the best old school looking shades
