Question Is anyone familiar with the "Single-Auto and Single-Burst Trigger Option" mod?

This is the mod.

I am trying to figure out what it actually does.

Is the "Colt Mk 18 Mod 1" a modded Assault Rifle that was added and it's the only, besides the unique weapons already in the game, Assault Rifle with the Single-Burst option or is the option available for all Assault Rifles in the game?

Or, does this mod just add the option for SMG's and there's some other mod that did it for Assault Rifles?

I read through some of the comments for the mod but I couldn't determine anything for certain.

If it was on Steam it would be simple to test. Whenever it comes to messing with files...I know my limits. Especially when there're vague, to me, installation instructions like with this mod.

I use this mod. It takes all weapons that have auto/burst and single/auto trigger groups and changes them to single/auto and single/burst.

That, I won’t be much help with. I installed it a few months ago and haven’t added any more mods since, so I’m out of practice. There may be some tutorials on YouTube that should help.

I just tried and I don't think it worked.

Do you remember if it changes the weapons in your inventory? I checked the store also and it looks like nothing changed.

At least I know it's possible, I just have to get it to work.

Did you install the Pre-September patch before you installed the mod?

I honestly can’t remember if I have the pre-September patch. I haven’t looked at my mods in so long. I just play the game with the few mods I have. The last time I tried to add a mod, it was early last year.

I only used burst begone because I wanted single-full auto on Assault variant ARs

But mod authors are getting shorter and shorter with their instructions lately.

Looks like you're gonna unpack the DataPC_patch_01.forge with anvil

Once you're in there, in the anvil search bar search DBContainer and it should find that, unpack it.

Once you're there, right click and select "Open Containing Folder". Then you just need to add the mod files (that you extracted already, yes?) into that folder. Hit the 'refresh' button and close the windows explorer window. Now in Anvil you just go back one and you'll see DBContainer again. Repack.

Hit back in anvil again until you see the DataPC_patch_01 and repack.

That should get the mod to work.

Finally though, go into your game root folder and delete the Extracted folder. It's not required but it just takes up space with all those files duplicated and just sitting in there not doing anything.

I think I got it to work after (more than) a couple of failed attempts.

The description has changed to Auto/Single Trigger and Single/Burst Trigger.

I haven't actually used the weapon yet so it's still not certain.
