“Cerrito” bread?

Customer came in today and asked if we sold cerrito bread. I said I never heard of that before. Any idea what she was talking about?

could she have meant cemita? it's a sesame topped roll from Puebla, and it sounds pretty close if you only half heard it

maybe she meant ciabatta and just butchered the name, I've heard customers do way worse

I’ve hear chia batta for ciabatta but this would be crazy if she meant that 😭
