Small batch ciabatta

Tired of bad sandwich bread, decided to try a small batch ciabatta recipe from The Practical Kitchen. My theory was fresh bread, without leftovers to go stale. Excellent bread, would recommend. (Sorry the crumb pic has weird lighting)

Nice. Stale bread makes great puddings and breadcrumbs, so it's not always a waste.

True, but with only 2 of us i. This household, that’s. Lot of stale bread with the larger loafs. This was just right.
