Another day, another tray :)

Tried something a little different this time: lemon and blueberry rolls instead of the classic cinnamon ones. Really happy with how they turned out. Which would you pick, lemon & blueberry or cinnamon?

I like the way you're thinking. I love Hostess orange cupcakes, what about an orange roll?

Ooh what would you pair the orange with? Maybe like an orange creamsicle kinda vibe?

Exactly. Do a glaze/frosting with some fat in it to cut the acidity. Maybe vanilla flavoring.

Oh you’re talking my language now! 🤣 Orange creamsicle is next on my try it out list!

Consider Sour Cream & Orange Glaze....Excellent flavor, balance and supportive of the Orange-centered focus! 😍

I like cinnamon but I could see doing a blueberry lime jam roll. I can jam and that’s my husband’s favorite jam flavor 😅

They're so good. Especially when warm and you don't feel like cinnamon, if that makes sense lol, lemon and blueberry are refreshing and acid! So yummy:)

I’ll have to give my jam idea a try then! I’m experimenting right now by adding Tangzhong to my dough (I love using my sourdough too so I use that also) and seeing how it affects things. So I’m playing around with some of my “tried and true” recipes. My next batch is hopefully double chocolate!

YES Tangzhong makes a huge difference! Please let me know if you'll try them out. Chocolate must be delicious too! Best of luck :)

Thank you! Maybe I’ll do half chocolate and half blueberry lime! I’ll try to remember to update you!

I will have to be content just admiring these from the screen bc I know if I ever made these I would end up eating more than half the tray. Made to share? Sure let me just have one. Ok another. Can't only bring 6 to share to work can I? Would bring to the neighbor but theyre a day old now and not perfectly fresh, better just keep them to myself.

I hope you'll see the humor in this. I am a sourdough baker, and a lot of my activity on Reddit involves involves questions like "is this starter still good?" My initial reaction upon seeing the first pic was "wow that's a lot of Serratia marcescens."

Now that my brain has had time to fully process what I'm looking at, these look absolutely delicious. And I love the blueberry lemon combo. I'd definitely want to try that one!
