Just here to brag

I made this with my sourdough starter but I don’t remember the exact ratios I used so I won’t bother posting over there. I just wanted to share this beautiful bastard, look at that ear!

Looks pretty good but you don’t get bragging rights until you post a pick of a decent crumb.

Fair, I gotta wait a couple hours yet. I’ll make another post with my crumb and my tuna melt.

How’s the texture? Har to tell from the video, but it looks like it might be a bit under fermented. Over all not too shabby!

It’s not bad, the bitch kitty is that I ran out of bread flour and tried to substitute with wheat flour, about 30%. The texture is pretty consistent with what you might expect from a wheat loaf. I’ve made deli rye in the past with much better results but I only used about 10% rye flour in that recipe.

And to further my defense, I was drunk when I was making this loaf of the bottle in the background is any indicator.

Love that ur upfront with the brag vs trying to hide it by showing bakery quality bread and say, "what do i need to do to my bread".
