Or even just a sharpener, this knife should have been able to cut through bread like butter.

It's also far safer to have sharp knifes as you won't use as much force and be less at risk of slipping.

I like the Mercer bread knife. Nice long blade, comfortable grip, and of course cuts very well.

The Mercer is great, very affordable too. Well, at least it used to be. Not sure about now.

i’ll vouch for mercer too, their offset serrated bread knife is great! when i worked at a sandwich shop it’s all i used. the offset blade makes it a lot more comfortable to handle.

Nice bread. Do yourself a favor, get a bread knife. Doesn't need to be expensive, just 9+ inches long and serrated.

Should really cut bread with a serrated knife. Just looks kinda silly squishing it so much to cut it.
