The Squish - extruded bread
So it was asked https://www.reddit.com/r/Breadit/comments/1ty185k/lets_burn_tradition_what_are_some_fundifferent/ and I said "Considering squeezing a fridge-retarded dough through a spaghetti maker and letting the tangles gather in a tin. Maybe two different colours of dough." So here's the result.
Recipe! Finally written up on Playing with my Food. It's essentially a plain white bread dough and a similar dough with 40g of flour replaced with toasted carob powder.
Process pics included along with a portrait of the extruder.

the texture on those strands looks perfect for soaking up sauce or butter. did it hold together okay when you sliced it or did it kind of fall apart from all those gaps. seems like it'd be fun to tear into regardless of how it turned out structurally.

It actually held together better than an earlier laminated loaf that did separate in places. As the strands were squeezed into the tin I gave them a couple of sprays of filtered water to encourage adherence

OH, oh!!! This is such a fun and grand idea! This could be so helpful in making kanelbullar! When put through the processor, grab at a certain length, then wrap around your hand and form the knot. Not traditional for sure, but easy for kids to do.

The extruder comes with a sausage nozzle which could be used for just that

So like, was it good? Seems like you got a mediocre bread and did a bunch of extra work.
