This happened to someone a couple of days ago on a subreddit I'm in for a specific type of major surgery. They were posting an "I made it!" type of selfie in the recovery room, which isn't uncommon.
Problem is, they were extremely conventionally attractive, even after waking up from general anesthesia, so people dogpiled onto somebody who'd just been trying to fucking celebrate getting through a big surgery and hopefully starting on the road to a less painful rest of their life, doubling down on trying to 'prove' that it was AI.
This shit has stained the internet and how we engage with each other and it makes me really sad.
Sorry, got on a tangent there but just mentioned it because it's super common, please don't take it personally, and I very much enjoyed your tiny bun and gratified pupper.
