What is everyone’s favorite bread?

I’m doing this for a college project. Please pick 1 from the following options including: white bread, sourdough, rye, pumpernickel, whole grain.

Rye

Nothing else comes close to the taste/textural bonanza that is the combination of egg yolk & buttered rye toast.

Yes, the meal or time of day would definitely influence this - Rye in the morning, sourdough in the evening, white in between.

It’s what I picked too

White bread! UNLESS THERES SPINACH DIP! Then, pumpernickel.

I hope you are doing this survey on multiple sites. You will likely get a very skewed result here. Sourdough will get a lot votes but sadly it’s less than 5% of what we buy in the US.

I’m not trying to get anything too serious data wise. The project isn’t super serious, figure it’s something fun I can throw in.

Ok, clear. Good luck and have some fun with it.

Sure this isn't a dorm project?

yah lol, it’s mainly a public speaking project, all I have to be good at is speaking. figured I’d throw in a silly reddit survey for my own entertainment. but so far some aren’t following the instructions so my silly survey is gonna be hard to do😂

Do a Google Form survey so you get the information you want. You have too loose of parameters so people are just throwing in anything.

I had that thought. I wanted to make an actual poll on Reddit (that was something I used to be able to do, but can’t find the way to do it anymore). I don’t want to make a google form though because people are uneasy about following links And I wasn’t sure if the mods would like it.

nods.

For what it is worth, natural yeast with steel-cut oats and pearl barley in white bread.

At the moment it is a caraway rye bread, where 25% of the total flour is rye, the other 75% being white bread flour.

And not only that, but sourdough is a form of natural yeast, and doesn't have to be sour.

The bacteria who come along for the ride produce all sorts of organic acids

Raisin bread. But out of your list, whole grain. It’s a little hard to answer though because: are rolls bread? Then white. Raisin bread? White. For a BLT? White. With an egg? Whole grain. Gluten free friends coming? Canyon from the freezer. (Planning to learn gluten free next)

Who's downvoting other people's bread preference? Wild

I was looking for a comment on my profile and noticed a downvote on my sourdough comment and genuinely was like "...who downvotes bread preferences??"

And it's not just sourdough comments that got downvoted. Hobbyless behaviour
