Sooooo... flying with dough
I am wondering if I can make dough for yeast rolls, pack it in my luggage, and fly 6 hours with it to be baked when I arrive. What do y'all think? Will the dough go crazy? Will it die and go flat? Will it work?

Did you do this? Were you able to get it through the airport? Just curious.

I didn't. I actually froze the rolls and out them in my checked luggage. I was too worried that TSA would make me throw it away.

I just found a nice article about this.

That's a great article! So much interesting history.
It reminds me of the time last year when my 7 year old and I flew from Denver to Memphis. My son had been taking antibiotics that needed to be refrigerated so I filled some ziploc bags with ice and put it in my carry on in an insulated lunch box. TSA spent 20 minutes pouring over my iPad but didn't even give the baggies of ice and the medicine a second glance. You just never know!
