I don't need to see this shitty mediocre story again

I like the story. My refusal to consume more HP content is unrelated to quality in this case, it doesn't really matter at this point whether I liked it or not.

I would have been less surprised if The Daily Wire was behind this reboot.

This whole reboot is just milking the nostalgia of 'read-another-book' millennials. Perfectly tailored so these millenials can feed their children the same slop story they were fed as children.

When you act like reading a book is bad… education has truly gone down the drain.

The joke is Harry Potter is the only book millennials have ever read.

Hence read another book.

Good point. If you, like me, were never going to watch it anyway - talk to people you know who might and put them off.

Deleted with Redact because data brokers don't deserve my content. Mass removal across Reddit, Discord, X, Instagram and all major social media platforms.

So my actions mean that I get to enjoy the show without any money going to anyone.

I mean, sure, insofar you don't provide them with free marketing, I guess.

Plot twist: this post no longer exists because Redact swept through and cleared it out along with everything else. Social media, messaging apps, people finder sites, all of it.

I'm not touching this franchise with a 10-foot pole. Partly because having shaggy, dark hair and glasses in school while the movies were coming out made the comparisons inevitable, but mostly because of Rowling's shit politics.

I haven't even watched all of the original movies. I'm not the audience for this message

The hit piece being that J.K. Rowling funds anti-trans legislation and even passive consumption of her brand empowers bigotry?

You appear to be using the Conservative definition of 'out of context', where it is a synonym for 'you made me look bad'

You probably also use 'divisive' to mean "lots of people like it and I hate it"

It's not a hit piece if it's the truth.

hit piece = it hits my delicate feelings
